He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Crutcher Snyder and Milton Kirkwood Snyder, Jr. of Lexington, KY.; his wife Carol; and his sons, Milt Snyder of Hebron and Scott Leslie of Lexington, Kentucky..

For years, he donated countless hours of medical and surgical care, as well as facility space, to feral cat rescue.
