She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Swank and Sarah Swank; her former husbands, Walter Teeter, Jr. and William "Bill" Buchanan; her brother Paul Swank; her son Scott Teeter; and her stepson Steve Buchanan.
She is survived by: her husband John McHugh; her children, Sandra Stashwick (Paul) of Hilton Head and Steven Teeter (Sherry) of Anchorage; and her stepson Rea Buchanan (Carolyn) of Dublin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nephews.
