It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Kay Cooke (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina), born in Norton, Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinard Jacob and Lula Beatrice Lawson; and her siblings, Shirla Ackley (Jerry) and John Lawson (Vickie). She is survived by: her husband Jack Cooke; her siblings, Jim Lawson (Lois), Ninkey McCarty (Jack) and Joe Lawson (Vickie); and her son Prince. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
