He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hoffmeister and Iska Hoffmeister of Jackson, Missouri; his parents-in-law, Richard and Eileen Delaney of Chicago, Illinois; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald and Rick Delaney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Betsy of Essex Junction, Vermont; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Cynthia of Chicago, Illinois; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Shannon of Los Angeles, California; his brother Dick of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Annie, Emmett and Lenora; his pet Delilah; and his siblings-in-law, Lauren (Tom Evans) of Bluffton, Eileen (Tom Hughes) of Granger, Indiana and Dan Curtin of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews; and 16 great nieces and nephews.
