He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Reid Perry II and Josephine Hester; his sister Joan Wyatt; his brother-in-law Calvin Wyatt; his brother John G. Perry; and his nephew Jack Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Kim Bowen (John) of Ridgeland, SC, Reid Perry (Janet), Cheryl Chandler (Bill) of Columbia, SC and Alan Perry (Kathy); his grandchildren, Angel Wakeman (Tyler), Steele Chandler (Mary), MaKayla Chandler, Beckman Apsey (Tom), Chas Perry (Taylor), Austin, Christian Perry, Rushton (Frangelica), Eden Bowen, Emily and Ashley Gray; his great grandchildren, Olive Wakeman, Rhodes Wakeman and Tess Parker; his sister-in-law Joan Perry; and his nephew Christopher Perry.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Charles R. Perry III's name to Providence Presbyterian Church (171 Cordilla Pkwy., Hilton Head Island, SC 29928) or Island Recreation Association (20 Wilborn Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926.)
