She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Howard and Nancy Howard; her brother Charles; and her cousins, David and Thomas Howard.

She is survived by: her niece Emily Howard of Nashville, TN; her nephew Andy Howard (Emma) of Terre Haute; her great-nieces, Harriet and Virginia; her sister-in-law LaDonna Howard of Crawfordsville; her cousins, Lucy Strait, Susie Reed, Steve Howard, Paul Howard and Jim Howard; and also Cate. She is also survived by many cousins, and her extended family were among her closest friends.
