We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, Barbara C. Whiteman of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Gilroy, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Barbara's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Barbara's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Crow and Gwen Crow of Gilroy, California; her sister Carolyn Black of Los Altos, CA; and her husband Wayne Whiteman. She is survived by: her children, Karen Kirk (Phil) of Vicksburg, MS and Bart Whiteman (Jeanne); her grandsons, Lee Kirk and Sam Kirk of Vicksburg, MS; and her pets, Kimiko and Ginger.
The family found the following poem with her belongings and respectfully request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the animal charity of choice.
