She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Saul Bloomfield and Blanche Bloomfield (Rolnick); her half-sister Ruth Bloomfield; her husband George Walens; her former husband Ronald Blumberg; her children, Rick, Vicki, Susan Walens, Gary Walens and David Walens; her grandchildren, Lauren, Abbigayle, Andrea, Alissa and Anna; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Colton, Paisley, Gavin, Behr and Kai.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Alys to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry or any hospice service you care about.
