He is survived by: his wife Elinor; his children, Donna Essig (Johnny Martin), Cyndi McNussen (Eric), Phillip Essig (Kimberly Templeton) and Laurie Essig (Tammy Wood); his stepdaughter Barbara Baldwin; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Emma McNussen, Philippa, Madison, Normandie, Zachary Essig, Willa, Georgia Essig, William and Andrew Derenge.
