It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lester Martin Jr. of Hickory Grove, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester "Shorty" Martin Sr. and Winnie Wright Martin; his stepmother Sarah Rosebud Martin; his siblings, Linda M. Owens, D. Wayne Martin, Norris S. Martin and Bruce W. Martin; and his grandson Billy Dale Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Martin; his children, L. Dale Martin of Shelby, NC, B. Gail Morrow of Kodak, TN, Michael R. Martin (Tammy) and John Glenn Martin of Smyrna, SC; and his siblings, Richard L. Martin, Kenny A. Martin, Hazel M. Adams and Helen M. Helms. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
