She was predeceased by: her parent Charles W. Clark. She is survived by: her parent Garnet McCann Clark; her husband Herman M. Burton; her children, Michael Hunter (Sue) of Mt. Holly and Ardith Fox (Kenny) of York; her grandchildren, Matthew Pope, Bailey Hunter, Courtney Toney, Daniel Pope and Elizabeth Hunter; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Toney, Phoebe Pope, Matthew Pope Jr. and Chandler Toney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church Sunday School Fund, 2300 Irene Bridge Road, Hickory Grove, SC 29717.
