It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Ivan Cook of Hickory Grove, South Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Flay Cook; and his siblings, Pamela Slaughter Maloney and Michael Slaughter. He is survived by: his children, Savannah Cook (C. B. McVeigh) of York, SC and Andrew Cook (Brittany Murray) of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings, Kimberly Oltmanns of York, SC, Bobby Slaughter of Rock Hill, SC and Roger Slaughter of York, SC; his grandchildren, Colton Cook and Maggie McVeigh; and his pets, Tito, Lulu and Barney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
