It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbur Derrick Ivey Sr. of Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ander and Minnie Britton Ivey; and his great grandchild Ashley Limehouse. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Ivey (Lynne), Mark Ivey (Sue) and Lisa Duffy (Charles); his grandchildren, Thomas Limehouse (Emily), Emily Read (Emerson), Jeffrey Ivey and Elizabeth Gilbert (Bryce); his great grandchild Louise Limehouse; and his grandchildren, John Forrest Limehouse, Britton Limehouse and Saylor Reed.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
