He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermon Tanner and Pearline Altman Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Watts Tanner; his children, Sherise Jakell (Rick), Jeff Tanner (Robin) and Andrew Tanner (Angelica); his grandchildren, Joshua Jakell (Samantha), Caleb Tanner (Sara), Caroline Tanner, Madison Jakell, Isabella Tanner and Natalie Tanner; and his siblings, Elaine Tanner (John), Benjie Tanner (Deloris) and Gordon Tanner (Kathy).
