He was predeceased by: his father Olin Douglas Richardson; and his brother William Anthony "Tony" Richardson. He is survived by: his mother Betty Johnson Richardson; his pets, Smokey and Shadow; his wife Tonya Bullard Richardson; his sons, Michael Richardson, II (Lindsay) and William Anthony "Tony" Richardson (Abigayle); the mother of his children Barbara Richardson; his grandchildren, Harlie Richardson, Colsen Richardson and Chase McDaniel; his adoptive son Anthony William "Tony" Whitney; and his sisters, Kathy Jones (Wayne) and Janice Cox (Randy). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Unity Free Will Baptist Church (1802 Lake City Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555).
