He is survived by: his children, Kenny Cox (Kathy), Donna Joy McAlister (Johnny), Sonja Nexsen (Steve), Karen C. Altman and Debra Poole (Lonnie); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Newell Phillips (Charles) and Bonnie Cox (Ronald). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 soon-to-be added great grandbabies.
