She was predeceased by: her parent Legrand Moore; and her sister Peggy Porter. She is survived by: her mother Gladys Mae Rogers Jowers; her children, Jerry Simmons (Sindy) and Jeannie Hayes (Garrett); her grandchildren, Megan, Caleb Hayes, Zoey and Scarlett Simmons; and her siblings, Rev. Larry Moore (Wanda), Shirley Carpenter (Allan) and Judy Nobles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church (1573 Cow Head Rd, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
