Cockfield of Hemingway, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Enid C. Cockfield; and his parents, Jack Cockfield and Mildred Hemingway Cockfield. He is survived by: his children, Jack "Jay" Walter Cockfield, Jr. (Kathy), Flynn Walton Cockfield (Costa) and Elizabeth "Libby" Cockfield Bryant (Alex); and his grandchildren, Courtney Cockfield Avant (Todd), Caroline Cockfield Stomski (Nick), Flynn Walton "Walt" Cockfield, Jr. (Meagan), Dr. Savannah Cockfield Rogers (Scott), Dr. Jacquelyn Elizabeth Bryant and Alexander McCorkle "Mackie" Bryant III (Karen). He is also survived by seven Great-grandchildren.
