It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Enid Athalia Cox Cockfield of Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophilus Walton Cox and Gladys Chandler Cox; and her brother Rev. Farrell Walton Cox. She is survived by: her husband Jack W. Cockfield; her children, Jack "Jay" Walter Cockfield, Jr. (Kathy), Flynn Walton Cockfield (Costa) and Elizabeth "Libby" Cockfield Bryant (Alex); and her grandchildren, Courtney Cockfield Avant (Todd), Caroline Cockfield Stomski (Nick), Flynn Walton "Walt" Cockfield, Jr. (Meagan), Dr. Savannah Cockfield Rogers (Scott), Dr. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Elizabeth Bryant and Alexander McCorkle "Mackie" Bryant III (Karen). She is also survived by seven Great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew.
