He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherod Thomas Chandler and Bettie Mae Watts Chandler; and his sons, Rod Chandler and Andy Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Hemingway Chandler; his daughter Muriel Taylor (Jason) of Greenville; his grandson Benjamin Taylor (Madeline Hansen) of Greenville; his brother Tommy Chandler (Jane) of Johnsonville; and his siblings-in-law, Sel Hemingway (Kathy), Bill Hemingway, Rick Hemingway (Lindsay) and Ellen Morris (Michael) of Rhems. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
