C.; his grandchildren, Lauren Kell Cash, Phillip McCarter, Emily McCarter, Jordan Thomas Short (Allison), Madison Nicole Short and Abigail Grace Short; his great grandchildren, Chelsea Coates, Colton Coates and Clayton Coates; and his brother Richard "Dickie" Short of Lancaster, S. C..
