She was predeceased by: her parents, George, Sr. Drakeford and Matilda Cauthen Drakeford; and her spouse Wycliff Brevard. She is survived by: her children, William Brevard, Betty Reid (Sammie) of Lancaster and Linda Brevard-Parker (Demetrius) of Mableton, GA; her siblings, Robert Drakeford of Heath Springs, Helen Guy of Philadelphia, Rachel Meeks (Willie) of Blythwood, SC and Jean C. Brayboy of Kingstree, SC; her sisters-in-law, Catherine Williams and Beulah Brevard; and her daughter-in-law Dean C. Brevard of Lancaster, SC.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
