It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius McDow (Heath Springs, South Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius McDow and Iva Lee Benson McDow. He is survived by: his wife Reverend Lauressa McDow of Lancaster, SC; his sons, Leonard Hood of Lancaster, SC., Montello Hood of Lancaster, SC., Ra'Kwon Grier of Lancaster, SC. and Mikel Stewart of Lancaster, SC.; and his siblings, Rositta Hough (Hazer), Martha Mobley (William) of Lancaster, SC., Terri Rutledge (Johnny) of Greensboro, NC. and Willie J. McDow (Brenda) of Fort Lawn, SC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
