He was predeceased by: his parents, James Melton Shealy and Poneise Smart Shealy; and his son Steven Rouse. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Crawford Shealy of Heath Springs; his children, Jonathon Shealy of Heath Springs, Candace Crawford of Cowpens, Breanna Shealy (Jessica Reynolds) of Heath Springs, Lilly Shealy of Heath Springs, Jessica Phillips and Brentley Phillips; his siblings, Jim "Jimmy" M. Shealy (Greta) of Noris, SC and Amanda Hardin of Summerville; and his nieces and nephews, David Shealy (Ashley), Lauren Sherr (Allen), Andrew Shealy (Kristen) and Katie Phipps (Jonathon). He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, #250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
