Baker Jr. of Heath Springs, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynn Thompson Baker; his children, John Boyd Baker, III of Charleston, S. C., Melissa Baker Catoe of Heath Springs, S. C. and Jason Brett Baker of Heath Springs, S. C.; his stepdaughters, Kathy Taylor (Joey) and Laura Petty (Mike); and his parents, Johnny Boyd Baker Sr. and Mary Estridge Baker. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
