He is survived by: his father Bobby Joe Hilliard; his son Hunter Hilliard (Mallory Watson); his brother Jeff Hilliard (Sandy); his nephews, Tucker and Abe; his niece Brenna of Heath Springs, S. C.; his aunt Annette Couch Pickett of Maryville, TN; his cousins, Pamela Heath of Spartanburg, S. C., Mark Gray of Simpsonville, S. C and Sally Pickett of Virginia; and his friend Linda Cauthen of Camden, S. C..
