He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Burr, Sr. and Sara Knight Burr; and his brothers, Terry Burr, Jackie Wayne Burr and Otis "Shorty" Burr.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Burr of Heath Springs; his daughters, Amy Short (Fred) of Heath Springs, Kim Pate (Charles) of Sterling, Brandy Ashley (Kenny) of Gilbert, SC and Jeri Burr of Heath Springs; his sister Barbara Haire (James) of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Brandon, Darren, Cody, Timothy, Breona, Cayleanna, Viktorya and Jaycee. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church (3026 Camp Creek Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
