We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 82, James W. Horton of Heath Springs, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Horton, Jr. and Dell Hilliard Horton Powers; his siblings, Peggy Long, Mike Powers and Ward Beecher Horton, Jr. (Lynda Horton); his uncle Beecher Horton, Sr.; and his aunt Mary C. Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stover Horton; his children, James Steve Horton (Cindy), Susan Horton Hicks (Ronnie) and William Todd Horton (Randy Willson); his siblings, Diane Cauthen (Jack), Wayne Powers (Bonnie), Harold Powers (Mary), Sheila Shores (David) and Mac Horton (Libby); and his sister-in-law Ann Powers.
