It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Ruth Marshall Arant of Heath Springs, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, John D. "Ted" Arant and Heath Springs; her parents, John Curtis and Thelma Sue Marshall; her daughter Kay Arant; and her brothers, JC Marshall, Jr. and Stanley Marshall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Etta Arant Taylor of Heath Springs and Sheryl Arant Thomas of Heath Springs; her siblings, Clarence "Butch" Marshall (Carol) of Kershaw, Terry Marshall (Sylvia) of Lancaster and Martha Marshall Stover (Milton) of Heath Springs; her grandchildren, Rhett Taylor (Stephanie), Jon Taylor, Jessica Thomas, Andrew Thomas (Kayla) and Derrell Thomas (DeAnna); and her great grandchildren, Abriana "Abi" Kay Taylor, Isaac Thomas, Drake, Khloe Small, Sylvie, Addison "Addi" Thomas, Rylie and Ryan Beckham.
