She is survived by: her children, Larry Thompson of Boston, Maurice Thompson of Heath Springs, Mary Blackmon, Lenora Thompson, Viola Thompson, Emma Jones and Joyce Carter; and her stepsiblings, Margaret McDow of Lancaster, Mary McGriff of Lancaster, Carrie Thompson of Lancaster, Savillha Sistrunk of Charlotte and Wilkie McDow of Charlotte. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
