She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James, II and Maggie Huey Witherspoon; her son Dr. Anthony Witherspoon; her granddaughters, Brittany Lashae Witherspoon Agossadou (Gauthier) and Anquanette Sherree Witherspoon; her great grandchildren, Anthony Noland Ingram and Sede Zion Agossadou; and her siblings, Carolyn Blake (Herman), Geraldine Johnson (Lynn), Bobbie Johnson, Ernest Witherspoon (Connie), James Witherspoon, III (Barbara) and Herbert Witherspoon (Phyllis). She was also cherished by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic only ten people will be allowed in the building at a time.
