He is survived by: his wife Bernice Hoke Player of Heath Springs; his children, Darren Player of Heath Springs, Blair Player (Elizabeth) of Memphis, TN, Brent Player (Whitney McIntosh) and Miranda Mathis (Todd) of Heath Springs; his sister-in-law Caroline Player of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Richard, Michael, Gunner, Timothy, Parker, Margaret, Mariah, Carter and Sayler; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Wesley, Archer and Elaine.
