With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Henry MacKey of Heath Springs, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Heyward Mackey and Nannie Blackmon Mackey; his great grandchild Langston Thorton; and his sister Rosa Bell Payne. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hegler Mackey of Heath Springs; his daughters, Cheryl L. Mackey of Heath Springs and Rhonda Adams (Tony) of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Alisha Faulkenberry (Chuck), Bailey Crenshaw, Caleb Carnes, Chadwick Adams (Heather), AnnaBeth Adams and Jason Adams (Amber). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
