She was predeceased by: her parents, Minor Sullivan and Madge Myrtis Johnson Sullivan; her former husband Billy Coleman "Clayton" Payne; her husband James Elliott "Lopey" Reeves; her son Rickey Payne; and her siblings, Emma Dine S. Wright, Margarite S. Rollins, Etta Mae S. Williams, Mary Louise S. Jackson, Steve Preston Sullivan, Mendol Johnson Sullivan, James Muroe Sullivan, Robert Franklin Sullivan and William Howard Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Payne, Patty Holden (Ricky), Pamela Faulkenberry (Mark), Rhonda Franz and Carlette (Aad); her sister Myrtis Jolene S. Twitty (Francis); and her daughter-in-law Valerie Payne. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren.
