She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chapman and Fannie Lee Adams Barrett of Heath Springs, SC.; her husband Don; her brothers, Francis Henry, James, Claude and William; her grandson Barrett Austin; and her great grandchild Peyton.

She is survived by: her sons, Curtis L. Austin (Yolanda) and Donnie L. Austin (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Summer Austin, Jordan E. Bowles (Jacob), Shoshannah Ellenburg (Rusty) and Dillion Hester (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Machen, Lyla, Ada, Avery, Talan, Ellie, Grace, Eva, Gradie-Jo, Bentley, Kameron and Brayden.
