He is survived by: his daughters, April Long (Josh) and Meagan Long (Joseph); his grandchildren, Rylee Long, Brayden Johnson, Eastyn Long, Lilli Johnson and William Hart Johnson; his siblings, James Atkinson (Louise) of Hartsville, SC and Mildred Courtney (late Bill Courtney) of Pageland, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Edwards (late Clarence Edwards), Dawn Wallace (Joe Wallace) and Pam Talbert (late Todd Talbert).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
