With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Harper Cross Sr. of Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harper H. Cross and Vasser Cross Green; his stepparents, Morris Green and Margaret Cross; his sisters, Gloria "Jennie" Cross Davis and Gladys Cross Chapman; his wife Debbie McCaskill Cross; and his friend Harold Griggs.
He is survived by: his children, Edie Cross James (Michael) and Billy Cross (Kelli); his grandchildren, Laney Cross, Trey James (Campbell) and Taylor James; his nephew Dalton Gainey; his brother Dal Cross (Donnie Kay); and his close friends, Mary Lee Smith, Wesley Smith and Marin Hans.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
