He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thomas Moree and Nellie Jordan Moree; his children, Angela Moree Allen and Howard Moree; and his siblings, Howard, William, John, Otis Moree and Nita Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Chandler O'Neal Moree; his children, Betty Moree, Chandler Moree, Donna Stewart (Louie), Carmel Myers (Ashley), Andrew Moree (Stephanie) and Brandon Moree (Magnolia); and his sister Sissie Gainey. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
