She was predeceased by: her parents, T. James Bell Sr. and Willah Mae Bell; and her son Brian Patrick Meares. She is survived by: her son Tom Meares of Hartsville; her siblings, Dr. T. James Bell Jr. (Nancy) of Hartsville, Allen Ray Bell (Jane) of Columbia and Catherine Bell Williams (Dennis) of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Dylan Meares of Jersey City, Logan Meares of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Manning Meares of Florence and Madeline Meares of Florence. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
