She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Madden Cathcart and Mary Edna Blackmon Cathcart; her husband Johnny Howle; her sister Sloan Amerson; her nieces, Lisa Howard and Kimber Leigh Atkinson; and her pet Huney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Howle (Tim) of Pickens and Lenette Newsome (Shand) of McBee; her granddaughter Morgan Marshall of Columbia; and her friend Jeff Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked memorials be made to the Darlington County Humane Society, PO Box 1655, Hartsville, SC 29551.
