He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Francine Brown of Florence, SC; his children, Antwane McDowell (Suko) of Colorado Springs, CO, Cherrel Jackson (Adrian) of Spartanburg, SC and Phillip Horace (Rene) of Summerville, SC; and his parent Mary Brown of Hartsville, SC.. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
During his military tenure, he became a highly decorated officer receiving the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, the Good Conduct Medal as well as receiving recognition for his outstanding contributions to the 7th Transportation Group.
