We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 46, Richard Lee Sanders (Hartsville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Richard Lee find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his father James Albert Sanders. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Mixon Sanders; his wife Joyce Paulette Hall Sanders; his stepdaughter Roxy Michelle Hall; his brother James Carroll Sanders; and his nieces and nephews, Savannah Lynn Sanders, Madison Victoria King, Michael Carroll Sanders and Patrick Orion Sanders.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home and Crematory - Hartsville (1414 W Carolina Ave, Hartsville, SC 29550).
Richard also was an organ donor who potentially will be saving the lives of seven or more people due to his unselfish generosity by donating his heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas and bone marrow.
