With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Eugene Melton Sr. (Hartsville, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Melton, Sr. and Beatrice Peavy Melton; and his brothers, William Anthony "Tony" Melton and Curtis Michael "Mikey" Melton. He is survived by: his son Phillip Eugene Melton, Jr. of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Matthew Brendon Melton (Anna), Phillip Eugene "Trey" Melton, III (Autumn), Delilah, Paxton, Michael and Hunter Chislm; and his brother James H. Melton, Jr. (Alice).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2300 South 5th Street, Hartsville, SC 29550.
