She was predeceased by: her father Charles Morrell; her husband James William Joye, Sr.; and her siblings, Mildred Lynch, Joanne Morrell and Ronald E. Morrell.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Parnell (Randy) of Lamar, Denise Porter (Chad) of Hartsville, Lisa Gilbert of Hartsville, Cindy Chapman of Hartsville and Bill Joye of Hartsville; her stepdaughters, Sallie Barnes (Mike) of Florence and Patsy Boyles (Mike) of Lamar; her grandchildren, Chris, Jeffrey, Bryan Gilbert of Hartsville, Ashley Huggins of Hartsville, Jerry Chapman of Hartsville, Randy Parnell of Lamar, Jennifer Bryant of Florence, Barry Bryant of Florence, Atkinson, Tiffany Atkinson, Andrea Boykin (Elijah) of Hartsville, Kandence, Kam, Kamden Joye of Hartsville and Heather Mcleod of Florence; her siblings, Rosalie Newville of Charleston and C. W. Morrell; and her friend Devin Raines (Shorty). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
