We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, at the age of 84, Norris Nathan Phillips of Hartsville, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Phillips, Sr. and Leatha Capps Phillips; his siblings, Janet Enzor, Barbara White, Reba Cassidy, Mildred Stone, Thomas E. Phillips, Jr. and Richard W. Phillips; and his stepgranddaughter Ashley Sparrow.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Phillips (Tonna) of Manning, SC and John Phillips, Sr. (Anna) of Hartsville; his grandchildren, Gilda Rogers (Brian) of Ridgeland, SC, James Phillips (Alexis) of Summerville, SC, Nathan Phillips (Celena) and John David Phillips, Jr. (Morgan) of Hartsville, SC.; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Tootle of Hartsville, Amy Sauls (Billy) of Hartsville and Kelly Humphries (Christopher) of Hartsville; and his sisters, Mary Ann Hardee (Wesley) of Loris, SC and Roberta Caulder (Billy) of Albany, GA.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund and/or missions at Forest Hills Independent Baptist Church.
