She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Johnson and Charlotte Wilks Johnson; her siblings, Burk Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Letha Mae Moore and Faye Usher; and her granddaughter Stacey Melton.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Sanderson of Hartsville, SC; her children, Joyce Melton of Hartsville, SC, Polly Miller of Asheboro, NC, Kenneth Sanderson of McDonough, GA and Brian Sanderson of Hartsville, SC; and her grandchildren, Gary Cole of Asheboro, NC, Stephanie Miller of Rochester, IN and Joshua Sanderson of Hartsville, SC. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Independent Baptist Church (317 Frst Hl Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
