She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Benjamin, Sr. and Mayesville Brockington Benjamin; and her siblings, Jerome "Bo", Manley and Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Benjamin (Cathy); her siblings, Frank Benjamin, Jr. (Rosetta) of Florence, SC, Jerry Benjamin (Delores) of Elgin, SC and Maxine Cobb (Willie) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Keean Benjamin and Mayra Benjamin; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Benjamin, Rhaegan Wright and Kahdada Benjamin; her close friends, Janie Thomas, Willeacha Jackson, Dorothy Crummy, Deloris Dickey and Ann Addison; her aunt Luella Benjamin; and her adoptive sons, Michael Smothers and Maury Walker.
