It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Griggs Semiklose (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Griggs and Almena Griggs; and her siblings, Hazel Smith (James) and Albert Frances Griggs. She is survived by: her husband Tom Semiklose; her daughters, Anne Basinger (late Wayne) and Jamie Nunn; her grandchildren, Alex, Shantile, Jessica, Eddie Lee and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Alan and Maxon; her siblings, Vivian Johnson (Geri), Johnny Carol Kelly (Richard), Helen Griggs (late Jimmy), Lois Vaughn (David) and Betty Brown (Andy); and her friends, Ivy, Paulette and Lynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to The Darlington County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1655, Hartsville, SC 29551.
