He was predeceased by: his siblings, Brenda King and Clarence Edwards; and his brother-in-law Franklin Durant. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Gainey Edwards of Patrick, SC; his sons, Chad Edwards (Angie) of Hartsville, SC and Todd Edwards of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Kylie Jewel Edwards of Springfield, Ohio and Luca Ridge Edwards of Asheville; his great grandchild Elliott Allen Edwards of Springfield; his sisters, Gloria DuRant of Darlington, Loretta Crowley, Judy Elgin (Sam), Sarah Edwards, Debra Tiller (Johnny) and Angela Weatherford (David) of Hartsville; and his siblings-in-law, Sonny King and Jan Edwards of Hartsville.
