She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Coker Dampier and Winnie Kennington Dampier; her daughter Pamela Stephens; and her brothers, Glenn Coker Dampier and James Edward Dampier, Sr..

She is survived by: her grandson Shelton Stephens of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, Charles Dampier (Evelyn) of Hartsville, SC, Mitchell Dampier (Barbara) of Hartsville, SC, Brenda Smith of Hartsville, SC and Eloise Welch (Donnie) of Hartsville, SC; and her great grandchild Wrenley Mae Stephens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
